Day 1-5

Hey everyone,

well we're in Alice Springs at the moment gathering a few last minute supplies before we head off into the bush again. We've travelled around 3,000kms so far.
Day 1 saw us get about 280kms before we got pulled over by the police and slugged with a $50.00 fine for our dodgy license plate!!! Aparently they couldn't read it properly. Luckily the cop was into 4wd's and liked Nathan so he gave us the minimum. We camped off the side of the road just outside Kambalda that night and headed towards Eucla the next day. We managed to find a pub and got to watch Collingwood FLOG Geelong!!!!!!
Saturday we bush camped again off the side of the road again and had a fire, it's been bloody freezing.
Sunday, Nathan found a short cut going from Ceduna to Coober pedy, saving 4 hours. Saw some wild flowers - stuart pea, emus and heaps off bob tails.
Well gotta go now, we're gonna find a camp outside of tennant creek for a couple of nights then on to Mt Isa.
